The Home Office(s)

I spend most of my time in one of two home office spaces.

This is my downstairs office:

My primary computer is a Dell XPS 720 with 4 GB of RAM and all the bells and whistles.
The two "portholes" in the wall provide me a view of the lake:

My three-monitor setup helps me to be much more productive.

Yes, that cup really does say "Microsoft Gun Club."

This is the upstairs office that I share with Tom (my side of the room):

Yes, I have three monitors there, too.

The windows and French doors overlook the lake.

Tom's workspace is on the other side of the room. Although it would be difficult for a lot of couples to work in such close proximity every day, after more than five years of sharing an office, we're used to it. It feels as if part of me is missing when he's not there.

Tom's side:

Our server room: This is Tom's domain, so I mostly stay out of it and reluctantly resist the urge to clean it up.
