This is our new little baby girl, Suki. She's a
Japanese Chin, which
is known as the most "cat like" dog breed in the world.
In this picture, she was just six weeks old.

She was born December 1, 2009 - a sweet Christmas
gift to the world from her mom, Blondie and her dad, Rylie.
Until she was old enough to leave her mom and siblings, she lived with Kathi and
David Rogers,
who breed Chins, Cavaliers, Pomeranians and other small dogs.

Our baby got off to a bit of a rocky start.
Read all about it here:
NEW SUKI PIX!
After a rough start with an eye infection that necessitated an
emergency trip to the
veterinary ophthalmologist (who knew there was such a specialty) and several
expensive follow-up visits, our girl is
doing great.
She is beginning to get more of the Chin body shape (instead of
being just a little ball of fluff).
The Chin intelligence is starting to make itself known, too. She's a
smart little thing,
and loves posing for pictures.
In these photos, she is about ten and a half weeks old and already a
beauty.
Here she is at 14 weeks, already losing the "baby" look
and getting more of a long, lanky "pre-teen" look

In the photos below, she's
four months old
and starting to really enjoy play time outdoors
Here is Suki at a little over five months, after her first trip to the groomer:
