The Lake in my Back Yard

We live on Lake Ray Hubbard, which is just outside of Dallas, Texas. The back of our property fronts one of several branches of the lake. These are the views from our upstairs office window and balcony on different days.

One thing we love about living on the lake is watching how it changes from day to day. Some days there are miniature waves that make it feel as if we're living on the ocean (without the salt). Other days, the surface is as still and smooth as glass.

We also love the "critters" that show up from time to time.
