I am a professional writer; that's the way I make my living. Thus, I accept money for the articles, white papers, and blog posts I write that are published on the web sites of various software and hardware companies. I do not get paid in any manner, by anyone, for anything that I write in my blogs on the Live Spaces web sites nor the Amazon End User blog.

Many/most of the paid articles and unpaid blog posts are about various tech devices or software programs. I occasionally am given free use of products or programs, temporarily or permanently, as part of the review process, but most of the products that I review, I have purchased myself through regular customer channels. When I receive a "freebie," I will disclose that in the review. I do not review nor express opinions about products I have not personally used, at least on a trial basis. My opinions are based on my own experiences and obviously will not correspond with those of every other technical reviewer or customer/user of the product.

I do or have done paid work for Microsoft, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Sony, Sunbelt Software, TechGenix and ConfigureSoft. My husband is (as of December 2009) a full time employee with Microsoft.
